Sydney Connected had a promising IoT Blockchain product, but it was difficult to explain to non-tech audiences. Without strong market appeal, they struggled to secure a second round of funding and stand out in the crowded tech industry.
We created a design system that made their product more accessible and human-centred. The new logo combined the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the Wi-Fi icon, symbolising connection, while the colour palette drew inspiration from the iconic Jacaranda tree. This graphic identity made the product more relatable and memorable, helping Sydney Connected regain investor confidence, secure a second funding round, and achieve a 60% increase in new users.
